Zurich's lake
is a long stretch of about 50 KMs with the city of Zurich at its end. The
river Limmat takes its great stream from here straight through the city.
The lake offers all kind of recreational sports in the great Swiss summer
like swimming, boating, water-skiing and many more.
On clear days
you are able to see a very impressive Alps chain of mighty mountains with
some tops staying covered with snow all year long.
Boat rides
can take from 1 hour eg. Including a lunch on the boat. Many businessmen
take this ride to get away from the office routine for short while. Most
of the tourist prefer a 1.5 or 2 hour long roundtrip, sit on the deck and
let a little breeze swirl around their faces while enjoying a drink from
the upper deck bar. |
